Powered by an 18-volt Ni-Cd battery pack, the DM900 offers enough power for up to 80 drinks on a single charge. Margaritaville is already well respected for the fact that their machines make perfect frozen drinks, and the DM900 is no different in this respect.
Opertion is as easy as any of the corded models. Connect the battery, fill the reservoir with ice, pour whatever ingredients you want to blend into the 36 ounce blending jar and press start. The machine will shave enough ice automatically and blend it with the ingredients for a perfect frozen drink.You can choose between 1, 2 or 3 drinks.
As this is a portable model, you’d expect it to be pretty rugged. This is certainly the case with the DM900, which also features a wide base for added stability as well as rubber padded touch points. Be aware of the fact that this is a heavy unit, so you’d do well to purchase a carry bag for it as well.
